Hello friends,
Long time no see! Its my fault, I know. I just wanted to let you know I’m still here and kicking. There’s been a lot of changes in the past few months and a lot of things that need my attention.
Here’s the DL:
- I got a new job in August which means real responsibilities and a real time commitment. I LOVE my new job as an internet marketing coordinator (thank you God!).
- Weight loss saga- Still kicking. Everytime I think about posting I think, well maybe I should go to the gym. Usually I get distracted by the pets, then I just stay home and do neither. Which brings me to my next excuse:
- Pets- Why are they so cute? Every time I think about leaving them or working on this the pets (or the husband) seem to get this sad look on their face and I get distracted.
I know it doesn’t seem like a lot. But I work hard at work and then manage the household on the weekends. I’m trying to get back into the habit of blogging, working out and taking care of the pets and cooking and juggling all of those tasks seems to be impossible some days. And I almost forgot, I FINALLY have some friends here in Syracuse, so now the social calendar gets tangled in there as well (and I’m thankful for that!). How does anyone do it? I’m not sure.
I’m always trying to do more, read more, exercise more, cook more, spend time with my husband more and educate myself more. I’m just going to need to prioritize and make time for what matters most first.
When I start to feel stressed about the little time I have, I start to think of what it must be like to have kids (that isn’t too far away you know). What does everyone else do in the world?
